Cancellation Policy

Spine Summit — Medical Attendee Cancellation Policy

All refunds will be processed following the 2026 Spine Summit. Refunds for meeting registrations and all ticketed events will be made in accordance with the following schedule:

• Cancellations received on or before January 15, 2026, will be issued refunds less a $100 processing fee apart from Residents and Medical Students who will be refunded less a $25 processing fee. Ticketed Courses will be refunded in full until this date.
• APP Coupon Code Redemption: Any physician that registers an APP using their complimentary coupon code and then cancels their physician registration on or before January 15, 2026, will be refunded the physician registration fee minus $350 to cover the APP registration fee.
• Refunds may be issued after January 15, 2026, on a case-by-case basis.
• All refund requests must be received in writing by January 15, 2026. Requests accepted via: email: [email protected]

Member Rate

The registration fee will be based on your membership status as of February 19, 2026. Please note: if you are currently not a member of the DSPN, it takes approximately eight weeks to become a member, depending on the membership category for which you are applying. For more information on joining the DSPN, visit the Spine Section website. Having a MyAANS account does not mean you have started the membership application process.

Photography

DSPN plans to take photographs and video at the 2026 Spine Summit and reproduce them in DSPN educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the DSPN website. By participating in the 2026 Spine Summit, you grant the DSPN the right to use your images and biography for such purposes. All postings become the property of the DSPN. Postings may be displayed, distributed or used by the DSPN for any purpose.

Personal Contact Information

I consent to the AANS and DSPN retaining my personal contact information, including my name and email address, and I consent to the AANS and DSPN using my personal contact information to send future emails and other communications to me.

Organizer Cancellation

DSPN may elect to cancel the 2026 Spine Summit due to circumstances beyond our control, such as disaster, severe weather, pandemic, civil commotion or governmental laws or regulations. In the event of such cancellation, all 2026 Spine Summit registrants will be notified by email at the address provided in the DSPN database; and registration fees will be refunded in full. Other costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant.

Children Policy

Children under the age of 18 are permitted in the Exhibit Hall during show hours. Children 12 and over may attend educational sessions. When in the Exhibit Hall and Education sessions, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and wear their meeting badge at all times.

Exhibit Hall Set-Up

Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the Exhibit Hall during set-up and dismantling hours.
